Marc Marquez will be determined to become the first rider to win four
San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP titles.

The Ducati Gresini Racing MotoGP rider was unstoppable at the Aragon MotoGP on 1 September, the most recent event on the 2024 MotoGP calendar.
Marquez won the race and also emerged victorious in the sprint event which saw him accumulate 37 points in total from the race staged in Spain.
MotoGP title ambitions
The accomplished rider is now placed third on the 2024 MotoGP Riders' standings having accumulated 229 points from 12 races.
Marquez is 47 points behind second-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo Team and 70 points behind leader Jorge Martin of Ducati Prima Pramac Racing.
Why Marquez could win the 2024 San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP
Marquez is the joint most successful rider in the history of the San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP having won the race in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
The 31-year-old's recent win at the Aragon MotoGP was his first of the season and he will be confident of making it back-to-back victories this weekend.
What did he say?
“The race was super long because managing that distance was super difficult to keep the concentration," Marquez said after winning the 2024 Aragon MotoGP.
"But when I crossed the finish line, the value of this victory was completely different. I gave many things to arrive at this moment.
“I approached this opportunity [with Gresini] as a rookie rider. I tried to work more than ever and we did it. But now we need to continue, keep going.”
